At the Evanston Animal Shelter, we believe in compassion for all companion animals and the power of the human-animal bond. We endeavor to not only heal and care for the animals in our shelter and to find them forever homes, but to also serve the community with support programs that keep pets with their people.
The events of 2020 have shown us that companion animals are even more important than we ever imagined. By supporting the Trot for Tails you can help us provide medical care and rehabilitation for the animals in our custody and help support programs that keep pets with the families who love them.
One of the programs that I personally support is our Community Cats Program. Even through the pandemic, we worked tirelessly to help our community members. Our Trap, Neuter, Return Program continued to run, kittens were rescued off of the streets, cat food was delivered to those in the community caring for feral cats, and medical help was provided for a few injured community cats. Even more connections with our community occurred in the past year through programs like this and your support to help me continue my work would be greatly appreciated. I could not be more proud to be a part of this amazing organization. Every donation will receive a personal Facebook post to you from me with a story of how you are helping me continue my work with the shelter!
